First Week Reflection...

So as you may be aware I started my new job officially one week. I have to say this shit is easy as hell. Im kinda upset that its nothing at all related to my actual field of study, but you can't argue with easy ass work, setting your own hours, and no dress code. And Im getting paid more than I would being a youth counselor. So all is well. Theres only one other lady in the office besides me, but shes cool as fuck, even though shes a mormon. I wonder how long it'll take for her to figure out my little "secret". The owner is cool as hell. Shes an ex-hippy, so shes all laid back. Besides that, Im gettin paid to do what I do anyway; sit in a chair, listen to music, an read. Im still contemplating getting a night/weekend job, just because I hate idle time with a passion. Plus I need the money. Im officially cut off from the parents. I actually got to check the "Independent, no one claims you" box on my W-2, so that was kinda symbolic. Although Hawaii for damn sure isnt the place I wanna put down roots, it is nice to say Im officially on my own. Growin up an shit. :-D
